The DLO Jam Jacket with earbud management is a superior, no-slip silicone case that adds a gripable layer of protection to your iPod touch. Get a Grip, and Tame Your Earbuds
It's a Wrap!
Tired of dealing with tangled cords and dangling earbuds? The Earbud Management System on the back of the Jam Jacket allows you to neatly wrap the cord behind your iPod, and safely stow your iPod earbuds while not in use. When it's time to jam, unwind only as much as you need--the handy side-notches will hold the cord in place, keeping the excess cable wrapped and out of your way.
Total Protection + Access
Jam Jacket protects your iPod touch body while the included DLO Surface Shield adds an invisible layer of protection to your multi-touch display. And unlike some cases out there, the Jam Jacket provides an opening for the ambient light sensor--meaning this case won't interfere with your iPod functionality like others that obscure the sensor. The Jam Jacket also features access to the iPod dock connector, so you can use your favorite charger or car accessory while your tunes stay protected.
Go ahead, slip the Jam Jacket onto your iPod touch for gripable protection and headphone management in one unique case.

Customer Review: Best case for the iPod Touch!
I love this case. It has a great grip to it and big corner bumpers to cushion any falls. And the earbud cord management is ingenious--it's a wonder nobody has thought of that before. If you use other headphones they might not fit into the holes as snugly. There is a recessed power button hole at the top and a hole for the light sensor too. Nice touches. And you cannot beat the low price (remember, it even comes with a surface shield)! But there are a few corrections I want to offer to what other reviewers are saying about this case: 1) The case is not slippery at all. In fact, it will readily catch onto any clothing it comes into contact with. That and the nubby grips on the sides virtually assures that it won't get away from you. 2) The case does not attract lint. I don't know what kind of poorly made clothing these people are wearing, but the case looks as new and pristine as the day I bought it (6 months ago). It doesn't collect anything. 3) The case stays firmly in contact with the iPod and doesn't stretch out over time, even if you do occasionally have to take it out to replace the screen protector for example. 4) The hole in the back by the cord management feature is designed to hold the headphone cord, not some sort of "lanyard" thing. The other reviewer obviously didn't read the instructions. The reason for this is great. If your iPod gets away from you while you're wearing it (like at the gym on a machine and it gets knocked off) the secured headphone cord catches the iPod before it can fall to the floor AND doesn't put any tension on the jack itself. This has saved my iPod a handful of times. 5) The screen protector that comes with it is thick and perfectly sized. Any problems with applying it are the users fault. You just have to be careful and iron out any bubbles. Just follow the instructions to the letter. 6) The silicone is plenty thick to protect it. It doesn't feel thin and insubstantial at all. I certainly wouldn't want or need it to be any thicker. 7) Lastly, and most importantly, you don't have to remove your iPod from this case to attach it to a dock. The secret is not to use your customized dock insert at all. I have the Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere speakers and out of the box the DLO Jam Jacket fits perfectly. Those different dock inserts that come with the different iPods are meant to stabilize the iPod so it won't move. With this case, no dock insert is needed at all because it's thick enough to stabilize itself quite nicely. All in all, this is the best case around for the iPod Touch. The ONLY problem a person would have is if they used other types of headphones that didn't fit into the holes in the back. If you use the Apple ones (or ones closely sized to them) then you should love this case just as much as I do.
Customer Review: Clear DLO Jam Jacket With Cord Management & Surface Shields For the iPod Touch - Nice Case
DLO Jam Jacket with Cord Management and Surface Shields for iPod touch (Clear) I've had nothing but good luck with the black model of the DLO Jam Jacket with Cord Management and Surface Shields for iPod touch (Black). That's why I didn't hesitate to get this clear version once I needed to start carrying around both of my Touch units at once. Even though I own several other cases which are also good, these DLO cases are really nice for general use. There are some shortcomings, but overall I really like this case. I only wish they made this model case for all of my non-Apple MP3 players. Pros + Really love the frosted look of this clear one, but my black one is also attractive + Nice durable silicon case protects your iPod Touch with minimal dust attraction + Nice design extras like thick corners and a whole for the light sensor + Included surface shields give you one less thing to purchase, great value! + Price is attractive though the clear version always costs more than the black one + Rear cord management let you store your in-ear headphones neatly + Cord management area adds less bulk than other cord management cases + Hole for attachment of loop for case lanyard Cons - Case design requires removal for use with most iPod docks - Cord management area designed for Apple style in-ear headphones; most others won't fit - Few options for connecting case via belt clips or arm bands - Silicon is somewhat slippery and very thin compared to other thicker cases like the Speck Toughskin This DLO Jam Jacket case protects your iPod Touch media player well. It also provides a "wire management" area on the back of the skin to hold your headphone wires while not in use. The wire management feature adds only moderate thickness to it, certainly less than wire management areas on similar cases I've bought owned. Having wire management integrated with your case is a big advantage. And if you use the standard iPod headphones, or ones with the same form factor, this is probably one of the best cases for you. Still, some will opt to get separate wire winders for their phones and different cases, and here's why. These days most people are replacing their included headphones. Some iPod reviewers state with no hesitation, "just pay $300 to get decent headphones once you buy your iPod." I personally like Apple's included headphones and think they should be sufficient for basic users. The cord management area is designed for headphones shaped like Apple's. 90% of all other headphones simply won't fit into the included phone holes. I'll just save you the time, your Bose phones won't fit, your Vibe phones won't fit, your Shure's won't fit, and your Skull Candy phones won't fit either. As you can see, I've bought way too many sets of earphones. :-) The other major issue with this case is dock compatibility. Some have pointed out the case may prevent easy use with car mounts. I was more surprised that the thick bottom corners prevented easy loading in my top down iPod dock even though the area around the port is open. Most of my silicon cases for other iPods have allowed me to use open iPod docks with the cases on, which is a huge timesaver. This needs work and should be made to work easily with top down (open) iPod docks. The case does have some design pluses. The thick corners are nice, and the design does include a good "home button" area and a hole for the light sensor. The hole on the cord management area is designed to accept a clip for a lanyard so you can carry the case around your neck. This hole is not meant for your headphone cord. :-) The comparison that has to be made is with the Speck Toughskin, which doesn't include the wire management but does have thicker silicon and a less slippery grip. It has much thicker edging too and provides slightly better protection if that is your primary concern. If you can do without wire management, you probably want to check out the Speck. Speck ToughSkin Rubberized Case for iPod touch (Black) DLO's case does beat Specks on cost though. For whatever reason, the price of the black one is always much less than this clear version. Enjoy!
